These include the Gorge Discovery and Flight of the Ten Gorges. Fleet Warbirds offers Warbird Adventure Flights in either a T6 Texan or the exhilarating L39 Albatross Jet over the same spectacular gorge country. If you want to spice things up, aerobatics are also offered in these awesome flying machines, so you'll feel the 'G' forces just like the wartime pilots did back in the day. People from all walks of life are now able to experience some of the deepest gorges and least known terrain in Australia.
A great introduction to gorge flying, this trip includes Dangars Waterfall and Gorge, Gara Gorge, Mushroom Rock and the Blue Hole with a view over Armidale - Australia's highest city.

The pilots favourite flight through some of the most spectacular and rugged gorges in Australia.
This tour includes Dangars Gorge and waterfall, Gara Gorge and cataracts, Blue Hole, Armidale city, Metz Gorge, Bakers Creek Gorge, Hillgrove Mine, Wollomombi Gorge and falls (the highest in New South Wales), Chandler and Mihi Falls and the Macleay River Gorge.
This tour lasts approximately 60 minutes.
Experience the pristine gorges and waterfalls of the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park from the view point of a World War II (WWII) trainee fighter pilot. The gorges have been carved out by erosion over millions of years providing a spectacular viewing experience made even more special when combined with the sensation of being part of wartime history.
The T6 has a sliding canopy for protection from the elements and a high seating position providing an excellent viewing platform. Naturally this aircraft is highly suited to aerobatics and the noise, power, and layout of the aircraft provide a very authentic WWII fighter pilot experience. If desired all aerobatic manoeuvres demonstrated are positive 'G' including loops, barrel rolls, aileron rolls, and various other aerobatic manoeuvres.
Designed and built in Czechoslavakia, the L39 is a 'Cold War' era advanced jet trainer with some versions produced as light attack aircraft. Exported to many countries, including the Soviet Union, it remains in service with some countries to this day. With nearly 3800 pounds of thrust pushing you skyward, your pilot will take you through thrilling aerobatic manoeuvres including loops, barrel rolls, aileron rolls, vertical rolls, and more!
