Centennial Parklands, Martins Lookout, Glen Innes, New South Wales 2370
The Australian Standing Stones in Glen Innes pays tribute to the Celtic heritage of the early European settlers to the district. The site serves as a cultural gathering place for people from the Celtic communities; the Irish, Welsh, Cornish, Scottish, Manx and Bretons. Home of the Australian Celtic Festival in May each year, the Standing Stones have great cultural significance. Visit the Glen Innes Visitor Information Centre for a detailed brochure explaining the significance of the array of the Standing Stones and taking you on a self-guided tour.
