Walcha Visitor Information Centre, 29w Fiztroy Street, Walcha, New South Wales 2354
Walcha's renowned Open Air Gallery is an ever-growing open-air exhibition of sculptures and artworks that makes up part of Walcha's beautiful streetscape. The Open Air Gallery currently consists of over 55 sculptures and artworks. The contributing sculptors are highly regarded local, national and international artists. It is astounding how many high-calibre artists come from this small rural town, nestled in the southernmost end of the New England High Country region in northern New South Wales. This exhibition, which is free of charge, is a fabulous sample of art created by local artists as well as their fellow sculptors from further afield. A brochure and map for a self-guided tour of the Open Air Gallery are available from the Walcha Visitor Information Centre or can be downloaded from the website.
Family Friendly,
