Walcha Pioneer Cottage and Museum complex houses a variety of historical buildings dating back to the 1860s. Amongst the buildings are the Museum, the Pioneer Cottage, Tool Shed, Wool Hall, Blacksmith's Shop, and a hangar with a Tiger Moth Aircraft which was owned by the Royal Australian Air Force, and later East West Airlines. Exhibits include military history, family memorabilia, Aboriginal artefacts, historical photos, wool industry equipment, rare tools and early household items. Pioneer Cottage and Museum welcomes coach, RV and school groups also by appointment.
