Watch the Guy Fawkes River plunging 100 metres over two waterfalls at Ebor Falls. Three lookout platforms along the edge of the gorge upper falls, lower falls and valley view give spectacular views out into the rugged gorge country. A 360-metre loop walk takes you from the car park to an impressive, cantilevered lookout, as well as another scenic lookout. From here you'll enjoy picturesque views of the majestic Ebor Falls, plunging over the edge of the waterfall. Just a short walk from the falls is the Ebor Falls picnic area. Settle down for a picnic lunch or enjoy a barbecue in a peaceful bushland setting. If you're keen for more, take the 1.1 kilometre walk into Ebor Village from Ebor Falls by following the Village walking track from the Upper Falls car park to the east. Golden everlasting daisies bloom around the upper falls in the warmer months and rare ground orchids flower in the late spring and summer. If you're lucky, you may even spot a wedge-tailed eagle soaring above you as you picnic in the grassy woodlands area next to the falls. The Gumbaynggirr people traditionally called Ebor Falls Martiam', which means the great falls'.
