Glenrock Gardens is an award-winning country garden set in the high country of New England in the historic and pretty town of Tenterfield, NSW, Australia. The gardens, which are 30 years old now, although very much English-inspired with iconic drystone walling and steps, are also intermingled with classic Australian eucalypts and surrounded by local granite boulders (including a balancing rock!) and Aussie bushland. The latest owners came to “Glenrock” (a working cattle farm for many years and originally part of “Tenterfield Station”) in January 2018 and since then have been working on the property to improve the buildings, gardens and infrastructure. It is the perfect venue for all events including weddings, events, workshops and garden tours and is spectacular in all of the four well-defined seasons with many lakes meandering throughout the garden. Delicious refreshments and restrooms are available. Catering can be arranged for larger groups, and BYO picnics are always fun! A 4-seater electric buggy for the less mobile and an electric vehicle charging station may also be used if required. The nursery sells a large selection of shrubs and perennials (displayed within the gardens). Their undercover venue The Barn (seats 130+ people) with a cafe/restaurant can be used for all events and gatherings including wedding receptions.
