Visitors can fish for rainbow trout in the six kilometres of stream set in 5000 acres of untouched bush and farmland, bird watch or wildflower spot, or just sit and watch as platypus play in your own secluded stretch of stream. Photographers and artists find much inspiration in the tranquil, quiet bush scenery at Milani. There are two self-contained cabins overlooking Laura Creek, catering for three or five people, and a self-contained cottage with three twin rooms. Cabins have barbecue and campfire facilities. There is also a caravan/RV site for independent travellers in a lovely spot right next to the stream. Milani is a five-hour drive from Brisbane or a seven-hour drive from Sydney.
